It is attended by delegations from all WHO member states.
The WHA convenes annually at the WHO Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
Key functions of the WHA include:
Deciding on WHO’s policies.
Appointing the Director-General of WHO.
Administering financial policies.
Reviewing and approving the proposed programme budget.
