Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell(PPAC)

PPAC is the data backbone of the Union Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.

PPAC has been instrumental in maintaining a reliable and comprehensive database on the Indian oil and gas sector.

Its mission is to strengthen the existing data system, render effective assistance to the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, monitor and analyse developments in the domestic oil and gas sector, and undertake analysis of domestic and international energy markets.

PPAC played a critical role in  the implementation of “Direct Benefit Transfer of LPG (DBTL)” and played a pivotal role in the identification of beneficiaries and their enrollment in “Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana(PMUY)” as well.
