Mission Karmayogi is a government initiative in India aimed at transforming the capacity and performance of civil servants through continuous learning and skill development. It focuses on promoting a culture of innovation, transparency, and accountability in the civil services. Mission Karmayogi shifts the focus from “Rule-based training to Role-based training”. Greater thrust has been laid on behavioural change. The mission aims to build a future-ready and efficient civil service that can meet the dynamic challenges of governance effectively.

Civil Service centred: The Mission seeks to keep the civil service at the centre of all change, empowering them to deliver in challenging environments.
Interactions: Transform government-citizen interaction, making officials facilitators, by developing competencies for ease of living and doing business.
Approach: Mission Karmayogi adopts a citizen-centric approach to civil service reforms.
