Food chain vs. Food web
A food chain describes who eats whom in the environment. Each food chain is a possible pathway that energy and nutrients can follow through the ecosystem.
Example: Grass produces its own food from sunlight. A rabbit eats the grass and a fox eats the rabbit
A food web is made up of many food chains that are linked together. It is like a food chain, but it’s much bigger than a food chain.
