The Expected Role of a Public Servant
The expected role of a public servant is to serve the best interests of the public and the community and uphold high moral standards while performing their duties. This includes the following:
Services: Public servants are expected to deliver essential services that meet the needs of the community, while prioritizing the well-being of all.
Implementing policies: They work to implement government policies and programs effectively, ensuring that laws and regulations are followed for the benefit of the public.
Lawfulness: Public servants are expected to adhere to ethical standards and uphold the law while respecting civil rights and freedom.
