The Railways has successfully conducted a trial run of a tower wagon on the Anji Khad Bridge, in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district.
Anji Khad Bridge is the country's "first cable-stayed bridge" connecting Katra and Reasi in Jammu and Kashmir.
The bridge is a part of the national project, the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) Project which provides rail connectivity between the Kashmir Valley and the rest of the country.
The Bridge with a total length of 473.25 metres is the second-highest railway bridge after the arch bridge over the Chenab at Kauri.
Chenabi Bridge is the world's highest railway bridge at 359 metres above the riverbed 35 metres higher than the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
