Tiger Triumph-24 will boost bilateral ties, says U.S. Ambassador

• Tiger Triumph-24 is a bilateral Tri-Service Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) Amphibious Exercise between India and US.

• This exercise, launched on INS Jalashwa recently, is designed to improve interoperability for conducting HADR operations and refine standard operating procedures to enable rapid and smooth coordination between armed forces of both countries.

• The exercise includes;

• A Harbour Phase involving training visits, subject matter expert exchanges and social interactions among other activities.

• A Sea Phase with participating ships undertaking maritime and HADR operations based on simulated scenarios.

• A Planning and Coordination Exercise would concurrently be undertaken to discuss and refine standard operating procedures to enable rapid and smooth coordination between forces of both countries.
