The Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI)

• India chaired the 6th meeting of the GPAI Ministerial Council held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
• GPAI is an integrated partnership to advance an ambitious agenda for implementing human- centric, safe, secure and trustworthy artificial intelligence (AI).
• GPAI has a Council and a Steering Committee, supported by a Secretariat hosted by the OECD.
• Its working groups will initially focus on four themes: Responsible AI, Data Governance, the Future of Work, Innovation and Commercialization
• 29 member nations of GPAI had unanimously adopted the New Delhi Resolution in 2023, which promised “to position GPAI at the front and centre of shaping the future of AI
